Celebrating Black History Month!

February is Black History Month! We just had to let you know about some wonderful activities and events taking place at the Brooklyn Children's Museum in honor of Black History!

African American Inventors
Kids learn about the important contributions African Americans have made and create a colorful bookmark to celebrate their inventions.
Date: Sat. Feb. 17
Time: 11am-12p.m. & 1pm-2pm
Cost: Free w/ museum admission

Drumming Workshop
Kids get an introduction to African drumming from musicians from the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music
Date: Sat. Feb. 17
Time: 1pm & 2pm
Cost: Free w/ museum admission

Early Learner Workshop: Sound Journeys
Kids conduct experiments to learn about pitch, rhythm, and vibration; and use bottles and beans to make an instrument to take home. Pre-registration is required.
Date: Sat. Feb.17
Time: 11am-12:30am
Cost: Free w/ museum admission.

Moms and Kids Dinner Event

Want to get out with your little one? Looking for a fun way to wrap up your week?

Join us for our Dinner Club. Meet and socialize with other moms and kids, play games and enjoy a delicious cafe dinner and great conversation.
